B4RNorfolk is a not for profit organisation looking to put fast broadband into rural villages.

I contacted them as they are working with Ellingham and Kirby Cane.

They would be able to extend their network to Geldeston.

Please read their documents and make your mind up - but £30 a month for truly superfast fible to your house including shifting your phone number to them (so no need to have BT line to your house) sounds an interesting idea.

I intend to try to sort a meeting in the Village Hall with B4ARNorfolk

But in the first instance if you are interested register an interest using this link

Like many Villages as time moves on people are now creating or purchasing their own websites.

Geldeston.org has been running since 2005 to provide a web site for Geldeston

The Village Hall and Parish Council now have their own websites

as does the Wherry Inn, The Locks Inn, Rowan Craft (Boatyard) and Mandy's Pickles

This site will continue to have links to these sites, have information relating to the History of Geldeston and The Wildlife

It will also be the where you can find out about the films being shown in Geldeston Village Hall.
